Employee Referral Message Templates

First Step, Inform your Friend/Colleague

Tell your friend/colleague about the open position and ask them to apply. Make sure you tell them to add your name as the referral in the application. Or submit a referral if your company has a process for that.

Here are some casual templates you can use

Referring them to all Jobs

Hey {friend}! We’re actively hiring at our organization and have multiple open roles that I think you’d be a perfect fit for. Check out our careers site and apply to any of the jobs you see fit. Feel free to put my name down on the “how did you hear about us?”. Let me know once you do so and I can reach out directly to our recruiting team as well. Best of luck with application!
